It was 1-1 in the end. They scored in the first few minutes, we equalised (think it was Westerman) in the second half & squandered quite a few chances near the end. Had a goal disallowed at the end for offside, although it was a goal mouth scramble, so how the ref gave offside was kind of a joke. However we only had one sub (Jack Pallen who was nursing a strained hamstring and he wasn't used. We were that stretched). I don't know why some of the 1st team couldn't help out, as they have played in the reserve matches before. They can't all be on holiday.

Adam Burchell was out with a pulled groin, Danny Baigent was out with a damaged knee, Hussein was out with a pulled thigh, Sean unavailable due to studies, Jack Walter was out with a pulled hamstring, Joe Hedger was out with a damaged ankle & Matthew Mann was very doubtful but he played).  Burchell, Baigent & Crouch were present at the match. The burgers were 2 quid each as was a curry.
It was bitterly cold (the weather - not the burgers/curry) (although Dartmouth & Sonytino claimed they were fine & Houdini was wearing shorts). Must have been only me then who got frostbite.

With VCD having 1 game left to play, we require Chatham there opponents to beat them or at least get a draw to lift the division as I think we have a better goal difference than VCD. Still all to play for, exciting stuff.
