We were in the same league as them a few seasons ago: http://www.thedarts.eu/tables/2006-2007.jpg

As for VCD, their website http://www.vcd-athletic.co.uk/ seems to talk about ground grading issues.

So what has become of AshfordTown (Middx)? Interesting to see 22 teams constituting the RPL temporarily - imagine the back log  xwhis
Also, no teams down into the division, but 5 up (6 including the ever-elusve Margit).

Ashford Town (Middx) relegated but switched to Southern (Zamaretto) League Central Div.  Have a look at Mike Avery site for full line-ups in all divisions from Step 1 to 4. VCD relegated due to ground grading problem, so Harlow reprieved.

I see that Thamesmead are still in RL1N while Chatham have "escaped" back to RL1S.

I think Margate got a reprieve (for the third year running?) because at least one team above them had to drop out for some (financial?) reason.

To answer Ozymandias, VCD have been relegated back to the Kent League because of their ground.

So how/why were VCD allowed into the Ryman League in the first place? Have the RL tightened their ground grading requirements in the meantime? Or did VCD fail to carry out upgrading required of them within a specified time?
