Are Scam 69 any good then? I will be flying back to the UK at the end of October for a 50th birthday party at PP and Scam 69 are providing the entertainment.

I saw Jimmy Cliff a couple of weeks ago in Toronto he was excellent he did all his hits the highlights of course were Many Rivers To Cross and The Harder They Come. His rendition of The Melodians' Rivers of Babylon was also worthy of a mention. The only downside was the punter behind me who knew every word of every song and was loudly singing along to all of them I hadn't paid to hear him!!
You can see some of his performance on the link below ( that's Jimmy Cliff not the bloke behind me!)

The sound on the videos isn't that great

In view of the p*ss poor selection available on terrestrial tv tonight I think this post is worthy of a last minute 'bump'.

Come and join in the fun and experience well performed punk/new wave classics .... and maybe watch Lardy trying to wreck the PA again!

See you in the beer garden  xbop

Sorry mate but a visit to Wembley for England v Bulgaria takes precedence.

Hope it doesn't turn out to be another 'Plastic Red' type venue ohno

A few of you will have guessed this post but...

Muse last night at Wembley... what an absolute treat. A near-on two hour set involving eyeballs, a rotating cherry picker and Matt Bellamy wearing a suit of lightbulbs xtip

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn_ihMmO7BA being a highlight, as always (not this actual video, but the same thing performed last night)

Went to see The Moody Blues in Bournemouth last night.  I first saw them in 1967 at the Black Prince.

Though they're getting on a bit (Graeme Edge is 69!), they're still going strong.  Classic stuff (Nights in White Satin, Question, Ride my See Saw, etc. etc.) and some great Rock n Roll.

The audience love 'em.  Long may they continue.

Went to Roger Taylor' house yesterday (work)  xwhis

The electrician there was a big fellow who transpired to be the Goalkeeping coach at Carshalton, having been at Camberley for about eight years previously. Keith, I think his name was
