05 June 7:00 Ko
« on: July 05, 2010, 08:56:48 AM »

Tonight's game is a 7:00 ko so 6:45 meet. Massive game and only two to go till end of the season.

The team playing joint second pulled out so they get automatic 3 point and +5 goal difference. If we win our games this could do us a favour as itll b down to goal difference. Rather they win 5.0 than win 10.0 and get better goal difference.

A little info from this week. We have now hit the 100 goal mark with 2 games still to go. We are rated 2nd in the form guide for the whole dartford branch including every league from every day, at every level.

Team to play tonight:

Joe (in goal)
Ossie
Sponge
Howard
Sam

+ValleyDart
+Dave

Well with our second last game played last night we needed a win to stay infront on goal difference and a gd performance. The game started very evenly for the first 5 mins with neither team scoring but more of the possession had by us. The deadlock was broken after a couple of gd moves and at half time we managed to go in 5.1 up.

The second half saw the opposition keeper continue to have a gr8 game and keeping the goals out. Our own goalie joe did a superb job when called apon with a couple of excellent second half saves. With pace up front and valley dart passing through the opposition defence we managed a gr8 team performance matched with a 10.1 victory.

This leaves us in second place joint with another team but with a recent influz of goals, puts us with 18 more goals than them. One game to go and it leaves it all very tight.

Well done to all the players:

Joe (in goal)
valleydart
Ossie
Sam
Dave
Howard
Sponge

Next week we will be unfeiling our new kit for the coming season and also all of the end of season stats.
