Premier League, Football League and European Football 2010/11
« on: August 07, 2010, 07:47:46 PM »

Thought since the football league kicked off this weekend it might be an idea to start a thread to keep all the Premier League, Football League and European Football chatter.

My early impressions on things:

Premier League - Chelsea look the strongest unfortunately, United are arguably in decline but they always seem to get results no matter how poorly they play, Arsenal will score a hatful of goals (Chamakh looks quality) but the defence is a shambles and the goalkeepers are laughable, Spurs will not finish top 4 again, Liverpool will, City will fail and Mancini will be gone before Christmas, Blackpool are doomed.

Championship - Portsmouth look in big trouble already, Millwall won't keep it up, Leeds will struggle without Beckford.

Can't say I know much about what's happened elsewhere so far to be honest.

So, pro football in 2011......discuss.

Chelsea, United and Liverpool are my favourites. Man City are still a joke IMO, Tottenham will finish top 5, Arsenal will finish 4th.

I hope Millwall do well, same as Portsmouth.

I know I shouldn't look into this at all, but Chelsea have had a terrible pre-season. Man City's hasn't been great either.
