for those who were NOT there it was  WES FOGDEN and not sammy igoe who scored H & Ws [ super ] 2nd goal !!!!!!!!!

Youngie made some very good saves, but I was in line with Fogden and the goal when he hit it. No way was Andy going to get that.

their 2nd was a well taken goal but i feel we should of been awarded a foul (for a push on bonner) on the byeline, however we should of still dealt with the resulting corner much better!!

Duke, having been doing our reports up until promotion last season, I can understand the odd howler from Mike. The only thing with Mike is, he gets to do it twice, for the NLP and Newshopper.
It's funny how you see different things when reporting, different scorers of goals etc. And then of course the paper don't help with their own howlers. ( My experience with NLP)
I remember once many moons ago reporting down at Northfleet, we scored, but I didn't see who put the ball through to the scorer. So I asked Gilesy (Roger), he didn't know, he asked the group he was with, roughly twenty of you guys. No one knew who had laid on the goal.
Poor Mike, Bless him. I know how he feels.
