Bellamy to Cardiff
« on: August 17, 2010, 01:36:50 PM »

Surprised he didnt make the City first 25 (as much as I hate him) as he is a good player. Wonder who will be paying his wages?

An excellent piece of business by Cardiff (damn them) who, I reckon, won't be contributing that much to paying his wages. Here's hoping he now gets kicked to pieces by Championship cloggers

By the sound of it they won't be able to contribute much to his wages as they owe Motherwell £175,00 for defender Paul Quinn. 'Well are considering issuing a winding up order to get their money.

Apparently Cardiff were due to pay £100,000 back in January and £75 grand this summer. What i don't understand is how can teams "buy" a player and not pay for him at they time the transfer is made. If they couldn't afford him at the time then don't buy him. Simple.

As far as I'm concerned this is another example of why loan players are bad for the game.
IMO there should be no loan players at all at any level.

Or at least if loans are allowed they should only be for a month or so not a whole season.

How would that work as they could then loan them out every month to a different club??
