Anelka given 18 match ban

Nicolas Anelka has been banned for 18 matches by the French FA for his part in the world cup rebellion! At the age of 73 it looks like his international career may well be over.

Evra has been given only 5 matches, presumably because he's actually quite a good player!

Correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't he already retire from International football?

Think he may have done that in the 90's with his record!

Anyone know if Zidane actually got a 3 match ban for head butting Mattarazzi? Would've been pointless if FIFA gave him one but we all know what they're like.....................

I think Zidane had to do community service or something as he had retired, may have been fined too.
