The Leach/Towersey Memorial Shield 2010/11 Thread - won by Lee Noble

The Leach/Towersey Memorial Shield was created in July 2006 when it was decided to hold a regular vote for 'Man of the Match' after each competitive match and to crown a "Pure DFC Player of the Year". It was originally named the Babs Leach Memorial Shield after Dartford Football Club Life President Fred Leach's wife who passed away.

In 2009, the decision was taken to rename the shield to the Leach/Towersey Memorial Shield in honour of former director and regular Pure DFC reader, John Towersey who lost his battle with cancer.

Past winners:
2006/07 - Eddie McClements
2007/08 - John Guest
2008/09 - Andrew Young
2009/10 - Danny Harris

How to vote:
You need to register on the Pure DFC Forum and vote in the appropriate poll on the match thread which will remain open for 3 days after each match. After this time, the thread will be locked and moved to the Archives forum.
