It makes a change to play Canvey at a different time of the year. We seem to play them over the christmas/new year period and over Easter.  I know we have won 6 out of 6 against Canvey during our Ryman League days but stats mean nothing on the day, espeically when its the F.A Cup!

Just for the record though...
2007/2008 seson we won 6-1 at home and 1-0 away
2008/2009 seson we won 4-0 at home and 3-2 away
2007/2008 seson we won 2-1 at home and 5-2 away

Of course it will not be easy after all Lowestoft gave us a game in the last round and Canvey are in the same league.

Relieved we managed to avoid an away trip to another BSS side. Great opportunity now to reach the 4th qualifying round.  xfinger
No disrepect to Canvey ofcourse. xgiggle

An away draw which is not ideal, a game that will be close but one we can get a positive result from, should be a good game in front of a good size crowd, bring it on!

2008/2009 seson we won 4-0 at home and 3-2 away
2007/2008 seson we won 2-1 at home and 5-2 away

A worrying theme emerging as weirdly, the aggregates each season are
7-1
7-2
7-3

as its a one off I think I'll have a £1 on a 7- 4 scoreline to us

Always good to get a chance to give Berquez some stick as well!

You'll probably be able to sit next to him during the game if you want to do that.

Yes but they are all over 2 games so I'd go for a 3-3 draw and a 4-1 home win in the replay.

We won 5-2 there last season did we not?

It'll be a closer game I'm sure, but definitely one we should be able to win.

Always enjoyed the trips to Canvey(apart from the cold  xshake xshake)  ...decent set up ...and a good set of fans ...personally I like the standing along the sides in the sheds and the atmosphere it generates.

Won't be easy... but be disappointed if we fail to progress

I think that James Rowe is still at canvey (ex Sudbury) and a certain Danny Heale is also on their books. This won't be easy but as long as we show respect and play to our strengths we will hopefully be OK

We should be confident for this one but not over confident, still a tough game although better than some of the other teams we could have drawn.
