SELKENT League (u - 14), Sunday, 12/09/10 result:

DFC 1 - Phoenix Lions 3 (HT: 0-0)

The Junior Darts took the lead in the 2nd half, from Billy's strike, after hitting the post. However, a late treble reverse saw the lads lose the 1st game of the season at their Leigh.T. Academy Home Ground. Away to Darenth Whites next sunday. Come on you Darts!

SELKENT League u - 14 ('B' East) - Result, Sunday, 26/09/10:

Footscray Lions 3   -  DFC 0 (ht: 2-0)

Starting brightly, the Junior Darts went two nil down before half - time. Footscray scored again with their only attack in the second half to wrap up the points. The young Darts must be encouraged with their overall domination, in the second half especially, missing a few chances.
On to the next...

SELKENT League u - 14 'B' East - Result, Sunday, 03/10/10:

DFC  2  -  Russellers JFC  0 (ht: 0-0)

Through hard work and determination, these Junior Darts won it late on in the 2nd half, with Connor getting the 1st goal and a Brendon blast from a free kick securing the points. Keep it up you Darts!

SELKENT League, u - 14 'B' East - Result, Sunday, 10/10/10:

Junior Reds Valiants F.C   0   -  DFC   1 (ht: 0-1)

A gutsy performance by these Junior Darts, away at a Junior Charlton side in Mottingham, was rewarded with the winning points. Terrific Tyler scored the winner in the 1st half, with Keeper Kane keeping his 2nd clean sheet in a row. Keep it up you Darts!

Oh... That's Demure Dave!!! It's all about these Jolly Juniors who've now climbed up to 3rd in their league (Albeit, having played 1 game more...)
Praise to thee, you young Darts!

SELKENT League 'B' East - Result, Sunday, 17/10/10:

Welling Utd F.C.  4   -  DFC  2   (ht: 1-1)

Having fallen behind in the 1st minute in Plumstead, these Junior Darts levelled up through a great move for Matt to score. Missed chances and an upper thigh / hip injury to Keeper Kane disturbed the rhythm, with Darts losing, after Eugene's late goal.
The coach and parents were grateful to the Ambulance crew (When they could eventually arrive) for accepting to take Kane nearer home, to Darenth Valley Hospital, for a check - up. Let's hope it's not too serious and he can return to action next week - end. Unlucky to - day Darts!

SELKENT u - 14 'B' East, Result - Sunday, 24/10/10:

DFC  3  -  Darenth Whites F.C. 2 (ht: 1-2)

Despite a restricted team selection, due to Holiday & injuries, these Junior u - 14's fought fiercely for the winning points. Twice behind and at Half - Time, they made it back with goals from Steve's head, Matt from a marvellous move and Sam's rare but successful last minute stormer...
While awaiting Test results on his injured Left Hip, Keeper Kane witnessed the win, albeit on crutches. Wishing him and other injured ones well!

SELKENT League Cup - Sunday, 31/10/10 - Result:

DFC    -   Valley Park Rangers F.C    (ht: 1-0)

Our u - 14 Junior Darts soaked up a lot of pressure from the 'B' West Table Toppers, before Brendon's strike, leading to Half - Time. Going 3 - 1 ahead through Harry and Tyler, the young Darts were pegged back by the Charlton Park outfit with their 2nd Goal. However, Steve's smashing volley made sure of DFC reaching the next round. Enjoy you Darts!

SELKENT League, u - 14 'B' East - Result, Sunday, 07/11/10.

DFC    -  St. More Juniors F.C    (ht: 3-2)

After last Sunday's tough Cup game, these Junior Darts had another successful epic battle against the argumentative League Toppers.
'Bouncing' Billy's Hat - Trick, 'Terrific' Tyler's Brace and Liam's long and deserved first strike of the season saw the young Darts consolidate their Top Three position - This was despite the St. More - appointed Referee, making a series of blunders ... Poetic Justice!!

SELKENT u - 14 League 'B' East - Result - Sunday, 14/11/10

DFC  2   -  Welling United F.C  2 (ht: 1-1)

Missing 2-3 key players, the young Darts put in yet another titanic performance against current League Leaders, with Billy poaching an equaliser before half - time. Barely 20 seconds left, Captain Harry rifled in a deserved equaliser. It's been good having Keeper Kane back in the side, after injury in the reverse fixture 4 weeks ago. However, other injuries are mounting, with Sam being the latest casualty. Come on you Darts!

SELKENT League Cup - u -14 - Result, Sunday, 21/11/10

DFC  -  Teviot Reds F.C    (ht: 2-3)

Despite a valiant performance, the young Darts fell to a top 3 'A' League side. Goals by new boy Connor 'B' and Billy's penalty before half - time gave our Juniors hope. However, they went further behind, before Steve's late reply for the learning Darts. Back to the League next Sunday to try and maintain their top 3 position in 'B' League. C.O.Y.D.
