I suspect you m,ay have suffered the same as me with teh trains this mroning Gary. We got teh 8:02 to London Bridge but only got as far as Falconwood. A train in front had broken down so we eventully got taken back to Dartford where we got on another train which went back up the same line. 2 hours 20 minutes later and we eventully strolled into London Bridge. I dont understand how they cannt run properly when hardly any snow has fallen. A joke.

I was okay this morning - got the 7.22 and, it only took just short of an hour to get into LB. Leaving at 2 today though, because apparently, there are major delays on all lines

We wont be so lucky, 5:30 as usual I suspect or 5 at best. Our company hand book got updated as well saying if you cant make it in due to adverse weather, you have to make the time up. What a load of rubbish.

Actually, just looked at teh link and they state 'there are currently no line issues on teh southeastern network'. WTF?

Was on the train that got stuck immediately behind the train that broke down at Lewisham ...after a 40 min wait with a full train of people we shunted that  train along a bit so we could get a carriage onto the platform ..unbelievable ..........and then we were all told we had to get off the train . xshrug xshrug xshrug   The only way we could get off was to go single file along the lenght of the train till we reached a carriage that was adjacent with the platform.

Managed to get on the DLR , which was running with absolutely no problems.  South Eastern could learn a lot from them .  Nearly 3 hours to get into the office.

Certainly won't be hanging around tonite as I expect South Eastern Trains to make their usual B*lls up of the train tonite ...they're bad enough in fine weather.

The 5th left home from Strood in the car early this morning bound for Croydon and at 11.15am was still only at Pratts Bottom so turned round.

I have just spoken to him at 1.57p.m. and he is on the M25 about a mile from the Dartford junction for the A2 and it is moving just one car length every few minutes, although the other three lanes for the tunnel appear to be clear.

I assume that the roundabout is gridlocked with problems on the A2 ?

Just heard from The 5th at 3.30p.m. it's artic lorries stuck on the roundabout and slip roads at the junction as they cannot get any traction, however he is on the A2 now passing the Bluewater junction and it's all clear and moving.

Final report from The 5th is he arrived home about 4.10p.m. but said that the London bound carriageway of the A2 was static from Cobham to the Dartford junction with more lorries stuck and jacknifed.

Just checking in now after leaving work at 2pm. I've walked up Temple Hill many times having sampled one or two beverages in the past and its not as much fun sober, let me tell you :(

Buses all screwed, trains to Gravesend screwed.

Reports form home East Hill is a bit slippy with cars sliding back down, stopping cars getting down it!

Roads around Dartford were treacherous all day. Didn't see any gritters out last night though loads over the weekend. Was talking to a bus driver this morning who had spent nearly 4 hours getting from Gravesend to Dartford  :-o. I did see one brave street cleaner in Dartford picking up rubbish, shame there was no one out clearing the roads.

I'm at home now, and I'll be honest - not sure they'd have got out. Dartford was gridlocked.

No better on the 96 this morning. Dartford to Plumstead in 2 hours. The Woolwich line was not operating when I got to Dartford station.

5 96s and 1 428 parked up near the Oddfellows and the Sorting Office at 4 as the drivers were told not to try West Hill.

Left wolverhampton at 1:45 and via the M11 made it to Crayford at 5:30. From there to the top of west hill took about an  hour and still 2 miles from home. P****d off.
