Trust me! Wife's birthday today, so I decide to do the decent thing and stay home for birthday dinner. By the time dinner's over, we've watched Holby City together (!) and downloaded a YouTube clip we've been sent of a young relative performing in a singing contest and I finally log on to PureDFC, the game is as good as over at 5-1.

Goal, 6-1, Hayes free kick and Burchell heads home from it.

FT 6-1

Job done.

Could be a good game at Basingstoke on Saturday as I see they won 3-0 at Thurrock tonight.

What a great night of football second half was the best with some nice passing and Main's goal was a cracker, it was very cold tonight but was good to see 274 fans attend shame it wasn't more but some people wanted to stay home and see arsenal lose ha ha ha ha

COYD and good on the hard core fans cheering our boys on

Ramsgate are through to the semi finals after beating Thamesmead 1-0 tonight.

Is it true that we've got Ramsgate in the next round, as i didn't think the draw had been made yet?  xshrug

A great result tonight and an excellent 2nd half after a poor 1st half. A cracking goal by Maine and Danny Harris's wasn't bad either.

A medicore first half but the lads moved up a gear in the second period and it ended up a thoroughly enjoyable game. We were clearly at least 2 classes above our opponents and won at a canter. Some good goals and decent football to reward the die-hards who bothered to turn up. Ryno was my MOTM.

What a fantastic night , worth every penny   xbop xbop xbop. Ok it was only Whitstable but we just blew them away in the second half and scored some great goals .
6-1 at FT time but we also had 2 goals ruled out , hit the wood work and missed another couple of chances .
To top the night off we had the chance to revive our relationship with our (very :-D) old friend Peter Hawkins who is always up for a bit of banter and he never fails to deliver . Always takes it in great spirit and you could tell he enjoyed the night if not the result .  xtip xtip xtip

Nothing on the KCFA website last night - only fixtures.

Rather a poor first half from us as we chose to lump the ball in the air for most of the 45 minutes despite the crowd telling the players to get it down on the deck.

But two great moments when we scored with Danny curving the ball in low from the edge of the box and then Mainie from a similar position curving the ball high into the net for the goal of the night.

Half time talk from Tony must have been to keep the ball on the ground and pass it about and that's what happened as we had plenty of space and opened up their defence at every opportunity.

Ryno had so much space to work in and received balls passed from all area's of the pitch and he made it tell with numerous dangerous crosses creating goals and chances.

Ryno received my M.O.M. but spare a thought for Burnsie who was desperate to score and did have one in the net but ruled offside and the crowd behind the goal were willing him on to break his duck in the last few minutes.

I had a look on the KCFA site as well Gary and nothing on there, not even the results and this was about 11pm.
