A very valid point has been raised on the Welling forum: On 26th March England play Wales in Cardiff with a 3pm KO. This will surely affect crowd figures at games across the country (I can definitely predict that Dartford's attendance will be short by at least one ). Any chance this could get moved to a 1pm kick off allowing supporters to watch us muller Lewes first before retiring to the club bars to watch Wales do the same to England our plucky lads defeat the taffs? Would seem to make sense
Move the Wales v England to the evening, everyone happy.
While it's easy to be disenchanted with the current crop for reasons pointed out in Spike's thread, it does baffle me how people can turn their backs entirely on their national team. A bit like the saying "You can choose your friends but not your family".A good point raised about KO time for this game and one I would endorse. Besides, early matches are fun.

Besides, early matches are fun.that assumes that all Dartford supporters are English....some of us took great delight in their team chasing down 328 in style in the Cricket World Cup earlier this week. Anyway what are Wales and England doing kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday in mid-season it just goes to show that the FA don't give a toss about grass roots football.

How, in any way, does DA Mikey's post assume that all Dartford supporters are English?
