I was directly in front of Charlie, and I am certain the ball never touched his arm.

I’m just beginning to get the feeling back in my neck from all that aerial bombardment from Eastleigh last night and contrary to most views on here I felt we were unlucky not to win. Their chances were from set pieces and they never really threatened us from open play and in fact we had the better opportunities to score. Still, a great result against a team we usually lose to and as per recent seasons we are blowing all those old stat’s away.

Was quite an exciting game for a 0-0 draw, both teams probably deserved a point. I'm not sure whether the ball hit Charlies arm, but Bradders should have put the ball away when he got the chance. My MOTM was Youngy, closely followed by Burns. Youngy once again kept us in the game more than once, and Burns was everywhere.

A good point to take, 10 games left, I still think we can get 60 points...

This is the highest Dartford have been in the footballing ladder after winning the Ryman Premier League by 18 points in the 2009/2010 season, however Dartford made the final of the FA Trophy in the 1973/1974 season.

Not true is it stato's?

Being a naturally pedantic old sod I should point out that, strictly speaking, the above statement IS true, albeit by accident.

It is the highest we have been AFTER WINNING THE RYMAN PREMIER last year.

Of course, we have been a lot higher BEFORE winning the Ryman Premier.
Oh alright then, if we give them that one  can we attack another part of that sentence? Did we not win the Ryman Premier League by 20 points in the 2009/10 season?

Well after watching Eastleigh put 3,4 or 5 goals in our net in previous games and generally without reply last night represented a considerable improvement with regard to the result. You could see the progress that has been made since that forlorn surrender at their place earlier in the season. Lee Burns gave a good defence a bit to think about and Elliot hustled well. Man of the match was Andy Young in my opinion for keeping them out.

Must admit I thought it was 18pts Stoaty, someone will surely confirm one way or the other.
I'm with Silverado on the Sheri handball, but plainly the referee was employing guess work. Undoubtedly should have been a penalty for the Champion incident though - there was absolutely nothing he could've done to stay on his feet (we were right in front of it) and that's a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

Say it again if this is the best that we are seeing week in week out we must fancy our chances next year now the team have remembered they are good players!

Remind me, was it the Margate boss who lauded this upon Sutton United?

I stand corrected on the 18 point winning margin for our Championship. I must admit I have seen 93-75 as the points total elsewhere but referred to our programme for the Havant & Waterlooville game which has 93-73 and Sutton drawing 10 games instead of 9. I always want to believe anything written in an official Dartford FC publication.
