Is it to early to start a post for the next home game?
I'm making what seems to be an annual pilgrimage to PP next Saturday.

If It is too early..SORRY

Course it's not too early - it is the next league game. Only the KSC tin pot game on Tuesday in the interim  xwhis xwhis

Our visit on Saturday
« Reply #5 on: April 05, 2011, 12:21:37 PM »

Coming by train. Any decent boozers in town? No idea of the layout of the town as have only ever been over the bridge/been to Bluewater. Looking at Google Maps, the ground doesn't look too far from the station. Any help would be great cheers. Should be a good game and hopefully a decent crowd. Cheers.

The ground is about 10-15 minutes walk from the station. It's more or less a straight line if you walk past the church on your right and (diagonally opposite) follow the "fasttrack" bus route which goes straight to the ground.

If you take that route you will walk past the "Ivy Leaf" on your left which is often frequented by visiting fans. That said, the bars at Princes Park are very good and you would be more than welcome there.

Have a nice day and good luck (in all your other games).

Another good (real ale) pub not so far up the Fastrack  (one T!) route up the bank on your left is the Malt Shovel.

For those that like that sort of thing, there is also a Wetherspoons (the Paper Moon) just into town past the church.

Reckon this is going to be a very tough game for us on Saturday with Woking on the fringes of the play - offs, and has the possibility of a resonable size gate ?

Hopefully we can take advantage of the game being at PP and keep pressing Bromley for that 10th spot !

When I am in Lincoln it is most unusual for me not to follow the Darts matches, either through the commentary or through the updates on this site. This Saturday, however, the opportunity to watch Cody McDonald play has proved to be too much, so for the first time in many years I shall be heading for Sincil Bank. I shall hope for good news when I get back home.

Huge game Saturday against an in form Woking.

They will bring a few so we must ensure we get right behind the boys straight from kick off. 12th man will be important Saturday so everybody bring their singing voices along. xbop

Should be a good game played in front of a big crowd.

Nothing to fear and no reason why we can't put a dent in their play off hopes.

Also preview on official website

The two best supported sides in the Blue Square Bet South play each other on Saturday at Princes Park.

Dartford will be looking to push higher up the league whilst Woking are determined to reach the playoffs after a superb run of form throughout February and March. The last time the two sides met was back in November at Kingfield.

Ryan Hayes opened the scoring with a deft lob on seven minutes for Dartford. Former league player Elvis Hammond equalised mid way through the first half and The Cards went into the break with a lead courtesy of Craig Faulconbridge’s header. Loanee George Purcell rescued a point for Dartford with an exquisite half volley over the keeper in the 50th minute so the sides shared the spoils.

The Darts have won their last three matches including a Kent Senior Cup semi final on Tuesday night. Hopes will be pinned on in form striker Charlie Sheringham who has scored six goals in four games and helped the side reach their first cup final in 15 years. Tony Burman’s side will attempt to stretch their unbeaten league run at home to six.

Woking has propelled themselves into the playoff zone after an extraordinary run of form in February and March. During those two months they picked up 34 points from a maximum 39 (W11 D1 L1) and went 762 minutes without conceding a goal (the best sequence in the league this season). The Cards managed to keep ten clean sheets in their 13 games played over February and March. Their 2-1 victory against Dorchester Town on Tuesday night moved Woking into fifth place, the last playoff spot.

Unfortuantely I have to work on Saturday's now and booking holiday is difficult. Planning a trip over Easter to the famous PP though. In fact I started working Saturday's the weekend we played Woking away and I was looking forward to watching Dartford against a team like Woking (three times FA Trophy winners, twice conference runners up and who can forget their FA Cup run to Round 4 when they lost to Everton!)
