Really suspect penalties,  the tackle at the end on the Woking striker could well have been given though.

Does anybody know how many games we have won with Elliott playing in the middle of mid field.

Excellent game in the sunshine it had everything the whole team played great football and the team performance added to several players worthy of man of the match with constant battling, really like the look of Pallen and not just because his Ginger xwhis he’s not afraid to strike, non stop battling and compliments Sheringham looks like an excellent striker and he’s still so young. Nobel was brilliant all over the field pace and skills were class. Burns and Bradbrook strength in the centre looks excellent.
Also listened to TB’s interview which I thought was good, call me a brown nose if you like but I think he has great management skills and although I don’t always agree with his late substitutions I do have great faith in his vision and management of players, a happy time for the Darts onwards and upwards

I have to agree on all those points there GM especially those about TB. Once again there were ramblings on the terraces about him stepping down at the end of the season but 2 promotions isn’t too bad for an initial “Plan B” and look what happened to Plan A down at Maidstone! If a new manager were to take over from next season we could well lose the momentum which has been built up over the past 2 months and for the first I get the feeling that the players we have are beginning to gel and more importantly enjoy their football.

As for the game I can’t remember leaving PP so satisfied by the result and the overall team performance and as yet still can decide who to give as my man of the match. If we can hold onto young Jack then we might have another star on our books but it’s still early days and I don’t want to put too much pressure on his young shoulders. He clearly enjoyed being on the park and the Woking fans next to me in the first half said he was real quality.

Now looking forward to the next home game which hopefully my boy finally sees a Darts win!

Rumblings on the terrace that TB should step down? Are we suddenly in january again? There were a lot of fairly valid questions beimg asked back then, but to be frank, Tony has answered most of them very nicely. Our first season in the Ryman Prem had some awkward spells, and we did'nt get to the FA cup first round, but look how well we did the season after. Pure speculation on somebodies part, but I'd like to see the CV that would convince me to want to say adios to Mr Burman to bring in an untried newcomer.

Not that I've heard, in fact for the first time as far as I can tell TB has deservedly got the backing of everyone.
The rumours are not coming from the terraces??

Thoroughly enjoyable game last saturday. If anyone had told me we would be 3-1 up at half time after Woking's first goal, I would have sent for the men in white coats.

I liked the look of Pallen during pre season and thought it was a shame when Tony let him go, though I understand he couldn't retain everyone and I guess it probably wasn't an easy decision to release him.

The lad is the most exciting prospect since Cody Macdonald.  xfinger
