Just a couple of words regarding Saturdays game. I asked the players to compete with their players in the first ten to fifteen minutes of the start of the match and then start to play our football on the counter attack. I think this happened and with the pace and ability in the side there players were more concerned about that than we was of theirs. Overall the player attitude was spot on and its a good feeling when your game plan comes off. I felt we deserved our win even though it was a close game.We have another difficult game on Tuesday at home to GWR who also won their first league game. I would like to make Stonebridge Rd a difficult place for teams to come to this season and there's no better way to send out that message than to gain three points in our first home game.
