After three straight wins out of three, can the Darts continue their run with Enfield Town also starting brightly? Discuss here!

I'm just looking forward to the atmosphere. Hopefully a bit of banter with the home fans and a bit of entertainment on the pitch with both sides scoring and conceding freely in the three opening games.

If we can take a few away with us on Tuesday night then i could possibly see this as one of the highest gates of the seaon as Enfield Town seem to have a very good support as well.

From what i understand this team was originally put together from the other Enfield teams supporters after they didn't like the way the clubs Chairman was taking the club and what he was doing with it, and this is why they get some very good gates and Enfield F.C. don't anymore.

I used to work with an Enfield supporter who gave me the info, he no longer goes to watch them because of the same reason.

Enfield Town seem to be going places where as the other Enfield doesn't apart from downwards.

seems like enfield get good numbers so travelling darts fans need to be noisy - important that the noise level is the same when the team are under the cosh as when the team are playing brilliantly  !!!!!

food for thought ?????

i will be at enfield on tuesday , hope many more will also be there    !!!!!

Yes I'm back and 9 points in the bag, so don't call me Jonah if anything happens on Tuesday as I'm hoping to make it straight from H.O. in Gloucestershire, M40 & M25 permitting.

Have just read all the postings and am up to full speed and looking forward to watching The Darts.

See you all then,

P.S. I'm the one with a slight suntan, still trying to parle francais, getting over several bottles of wine, but refreshed after two very relaxing weeks.

Have to say that the Dartford games were some of the first I looked for when the fixtures came out. Many memories of matches at Southbury Road and Watling Street between yourselves and 'the other club'.

The full story of our formation is too long to bore you with here but it's been great for the last four seasons and we're so enjoying ourselves in this campaign.

You are all more than welcome at Brimsdown, having two sets of supporters has been something of a novelty in recent times and in all honesty we struggle to generate an atmosphere when it's just us there!

On the pitch we've not started badly. Think we'll cause most sides in this League problems up front although we've yet to look overly solid at the back. Most of us are still trying to work out exactly how strong we'll be although a trend has emerged in our opening games; The opposition has been well organised, physically strong and lively up front (especially Harlow). We struggled to get to grips with this at first but played reasonably well at Barking on Saturday. Suppose we'll know more after a few more games.

Any treats/dumps for us to look forward to this season?

Look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

town man - looking forward to the game on tuesday , the usual bunch of us will be there giving our team plenty of  vocal support and trying to wind your team up with friendly banter !!!

we are an attacking team so should be a good open game

as for other teams/grounds i will give you a taster and no doubt other dart fans will add to it

friendly places are GWR, Wivenhoe &  barking , worst grounds are harlow and corby who have a running track around the pitch and there is more atmosphere in a cemetary !!!!

worst pitch is barton rovers just ahead of sittingbourne

the " funniest " is at wingate and finchley where we got a b...king for making too much noise in the bar cause we were disturbing the bridge players in the next room - oh and be careful eating the pies !!!

overall though never had any aggro at any of the grounds

all the best

Town fan, I suggest that when you visit Wingate and Finchley that you eat before you go as the food is awful and you also take out a big mortgage if you visit the bar as all the beer is sold in cans, there's no draught at all and its bl***y expensive. Also as Duke has already mentioned you have to whisper in the bar due to the Bridge Club playing just the other side of the partisioned doors otherwise you will get told to ssshhh.

They are a jewish based club so this could well explain a lot to you.

When we visited last season one of our supporters kindly offered them one of his Pork Pies but for some reason they gave him a foul look and just walked off.

Harlow as you will possibly already know is a dump as is Corby due to having the running track round the pitch so you are standing back quite a bit and if you go behind the goals then remember your binnoculars.

There are 1 or 2 other dodgy grounds but at this time i can't think of them.

Looking forward to Tuesday nights game where hopefully fingers crossed we can pick up another 3pts, but looking at your results so far it's certainly going to be a hard fought game.

At least we can go to another ground where there will actually be some kind of atmosphere and singing from the other supporters and not just from us.

I think that Corby now groundshare at Kettering, it used to be a ok ground but their main stand is shut now so another crap ground in a league of crap grounds.

the boys going to enfield town (brimsdown) take care there is a level crossing from the direction of mollison avenue and you can get stuck there for a long time. leave yourselves plenty of time or look up the map and approach from the other side avoiding the level crossing.

Corby are only sharing with Kettering until October, I think, while work is being done on the running track or something like that. We're the lucky ones.
