That's a shame ... I thought he was doing an excellent job for us.

That'll make a lot of Dover fans happy. Let's hope whoever they find to replace HAYES isn't TOO good

Scapegoat.

Try to progress too much, too soon, by throwing money at it and wonder why it goes wrong. Fans expectations too high and an attitude of we're too good for this league that puts you under pressure immediately.

They're all to blame and I wonder with interest who would dare go there to be the next manager. It will be a brave individual. I don't know why I'm finding myself guessing Barry Ashby, but let's face it, shortlist will definitely be the word.

thats really bad news for the other clubs in the BSS especially IF they give it to jamie day ????????

Wonder what the odds are - worth a bet but guess odds will be short !!!!!

I'm sure they will throw money at it as usual but I'm not sure Jamie Day would want to go there. I hope he doesn't, for his own sake. He's doing a great job at Welling and the Dover job is a bit of a poisoned chalice. As soon as they lose the toss for a kick-off the fans will be on his back.

you can only assume jamie day is ambitious and if he is and is offered the dover job he will surely take it

Why? Dover may (just may) be a "bigger" club than Welling - but who's to say Dover will necessarily progress further and (more to the point for JimP) faster with JD than Welling without him?

what about Peter Taylor having another go at Douvre........Why would JD leave a top 3 side for overrated mid table team  :-P :-P :-P Furthermore whoever takes over will only have ungreatful fans  :-P and an egotistic chairman to work with, not to mention being saddled with the best 'non geling' squad in the BSS  xwhis xwhis
