Too many man are chasing them Zara level chicks. I've just remembered that JT is also an abbreviation of something else that John Terry is but which is maybe too rude to mention in full here (original source: Lady Chatterley's Lover).

BTW: Ignoring the question of him being stripped of the England captaincy (again!) - Is his current form good enough for him even to be considered for the squad? Discuss.

Have I been in the US too long?...I always thought that the team manager/coach appointed the captain.

I definately think that Terry should be dropped - dropped on his head  myword

However, talking about Terry from a purely footballing perspective - he has never really let England down but he does get criticised for a lack of pace. I think that England should forget about him as Phil Jones for me should be an automatic choice at centre half. I would probably partner him with either Jagielka or Cahill.

I think that is the general practice, but I think that after all the brouhaha over Terry the FA were thinking of taking on that role in this particular case (not sure if they actually have decided to yet, though).

Apparently the FA were 'nervous' about meddling with the team and upsetting Capello. It seems to me like Terry is a great favourite of Capello's (that's why he reinstated him) but I think that the FA are right to take action. If Terry IS found guilty then it surely must be the end of his England career - if he is not found guilty the I'm not sure what will happen!?

I imagine that Steven Gerrard will be appointed as the new captain - I always thought he would have been the best choice.

The FA should have taken action when he was undeniably bringing the captaincy into disrepute before.
To take action now, when nothing has been proven is absolutley ridiculous. It sends the wrong message to everyone in this country, that someone can say something, and you get penalised without trial.
I think the FA should resign.

Maybe unofficially, not allowing the manager to ever have him in the side again? Not exactly set the world alight with him in the side.

Back in the old days, that would have been a career ender. Nowadays though, too many doing the same thing to care.

At the end of the day he is still innocent until proven otherwise. What happens if he is found not guilty?, will the FA say sorry JT here's the captaincy back. I don't remember Gerrard being sacked by the FA when he got charged with assault a few years ago or Tony Adams when he had a spell at her majesty's pleasure for having a few pints and driving his car through a wall.

If it wasn't for the press this would never have gone as far as it has. If the boot had been on the other foot and Anton Ferdinand had called JT a "f*cking white c*nt" would the press or police given it as much interest?.

Whether JT is guilty or not the whole episode stinks!

From that perspective you are right Future. But I get the feeling that the FA have seen (like many others) footage of the QPR v Chelsea game and it really doesn't look good very good for Terry. Plus add to that his previous poor character and the fact that the guy is as thick as pig poo.  :police:
