Nightporter Japan Night

Just thought I'd post this. Can't go myself as I'll be in the wrong country as usual, but the Nightporter group are doing their next Japan night at the London Stone on Cannon St, on February 18th. See www.nightporter.co.uk

As our resident European Son you might be able to help. One of my failings, and yes, we all have them is that I struggle to remember peoples names, let alone song lyrics and half the time have never known / been interested in the lyric in the first place. I'm just a 'tune' man.

So, in anticipation of our possible mobilisation to the above event I took time out to look at some back catalogue stuff. 'Kinell. I thought Sylvian was nuts now but he's always been close to the edge.

 I read somewhere the song refers to him or the group on tour in the US and missing Europe. They have luncheonettes over there. Never met one myself. :-)
