Gillingham's match is off, in spite of the pitch having been covered. I don't know whether that will make any difference to Connor's situation.

Were the Gills due to be playing home or away? Even if there is no snow overnight and tomorrow morning, how likely is PP to be frozen too hard to play?

Conner on the bench as well as Jack Evans who was on loan at Welling,Dave Martin starts for Southend.

is it me or are Gillingham absolutely shocking?   If Connor doesn't get on instead of this hapless defence then I don't see what Hess has got him for?

quite a lot of Harry Potter's  'gravityarmus!' going on.  Kedwell keeps being dragged to the floor by an invisible assailant. It seems to be particularly potent in the Southend penalty area.
