It's a pretty big game for a great club that has a proud history and whilst they are currently getting small crowds by their standards, I would't be surprised if they brought something close to 200. Looking forward to this game and we have to be very confident as we are absolutely flying at the moment.

Your lovely ground is perfect for such a game and decent fans for a cracking atmos all round. Of course we are under dogs but that's the joy of cup football. You never know.

Is it true that this game is going to be segregated does anyone know??
Just what I'd heard at the game yesterday. Wealdstone supposedly said they wanted it to be an all ticket game but this couldn't happen.

Thanks for the info re parking guys (I started this thread) and thanks to Rick for the email he sent me regarding parking... top man. Always difficult to judge how many of us Stones will be making the journey but there is a fair bit of interest down our end and quite a few of us making the trip by train/car as well by coach. I think it will be a cracking atmosphere and just hope the weather forcast doesn't affect either the amount that come along or even whether the game can take place. I see you guys banged in a few yesterday... hope you used them all up! See you all Saturday...

Very much looking forward to Saturday. Hoping the weather isn't as bad as feared. I suspect we'll bring around 300 fans. We have a double decker and a 49 seater already booked. Plenty more on the train/road etc, so that figure is certainly reasonable.

Hopefully your stewards are better than they were the last time we came? Our pub of choice appears to be the Malt Shovel.

I've followed the team on and off since the early 70s and I'm really confident that we can finally get to Wembley again after a mere 38-year wait! I was there to see Ernie Morgan's team freeze on the day against Morecambe in '74, and tho that Southern-League title-winning team was a cracking side I think the current XI are better. We smashed Thurrock out of sight Saturday to keep our brilliant 2012 rolling along and Wealdstone are nowhere near good enough to stop us making the quarter-finals.
Anybody else remember that day in '74?

I don't really agree that the current side is better than the team which played at Wembley. At that time the Southern League champions were one of the two top non-league clubs in the country, with the Alliance/ Conference not yet in place.

Having said that I am always suspicious about comparisons between different eras.

Can confirm that we have definately not asked for the game to be all-ticket. See no point in that as it will only diminsh the gate.

I was told on Saturday that it will be segregated. I must say that it was not by the club I was overheard the stewards talking about it when they were having a smoking break.
