Why have we got a second thread on this match?

This thread was opened earlier by a Stones fan wanting to know about parking - and has continued wandering through a whole range of non-related topics.
The other thread was opened by a DFC forum member who may not have been aware of this thread.

IMO there seems little point in merging them.

I'm the Stones fan who started this thread... a thread of many twists and turns so it seems... and as a final twist I will be coming now by train.... maybe Eurostar!

Come on you Stones!

Anyone else baffled by Wealdstone's "french" theme? I know we've been doing it for years against Dover, for obvious reasons as they are just a few miles from Calais, but Dartford??? It's almost a hundred miles to France from Dartford and by that reckoning we might as well call Wealdstone Welsh!!!

Maybe all those years down the coal mines and singing in the valleys has got the boyos confused.

I wonder if Charlotte Church is coming with them on Saturday?

Malheureusement mon ami, votre mauvais usage du mot "l'ironie" révèle que votre connaissance anglaise est aussi détériorée que votre Géographie.

Don't understand why you would bring soft fruits or taches for your todgers - onions I can understand. Sorry, only do English.

And in keeping with the gallic propensity for laziness, witness their record for 92/93 season. Started it and just gave up. Couldn't be arsed it seems. Probably slunk off for a Ricard and gauloise somewhere, shrugging and mumbling about Maidstone.

Looks like they are in need of a history lesson as well as Geography one
