I know we've not got this match for a fortnight, but we can start talking about it already!!!

It seems this match is at KETTERING TOWN FC and not CORBY TOWN FC.

At least it's at a half decent ground then with no running track.

Perhaps they decided on a neutral ground with all the flack we posted about their stadium and fans.

I like Kettering and used to like that bl**dy great big stand all down one side, didn't someone say it was closed now as unsafe.

The stand has now been passed as safe to re-open, although there's a voluntary ban on the front 6 rows and the grey seating area according to Kettering's website.

So much better that the games at Kettering, surely the ground at Corby is one of the worst ever for watching football.  Maybe Moor Green is a contender with Corby though.

Although I do remember Marcus Gayle scoring a 30 yard screamer on a Wednesday night and getting to Corby on a different Wednesday and finding the game was called off.

These were the days when I was more adventurous and wasn't married.  It's generally just the home games now.

how many fans will you be bringing over and yes the stand will be the only stand avaliable for most corby fans (not including the bots) and away fans.

Good to hear from you Macca and here was me thinking that those front 6 rows were reserved for all of your fans, you just love to sit in the stand.

As we have no match this Saturday I would imagine we will have a few more fans travelling away to Kettering, as a guide we normally have 50-100 depending on travelling distance, so hopefully look toward 75+.

Hopefully a few more will help out with the singing for the Corby game as well, not like at Borethem Stiff when there was only 3 of us.

There will be a few Darts fans chanting, as usual, the total away turn out around 50 in all.

A point would be a reasonable result and not to be sniffed at.  If we can get better then so be it

Duke, Corby are above us in the league. Why does that mean a "safe" 3 points? I think we're getting too far ahead of ourselves. Sure, we've started well, but let's not enter that arrogant phase where we expect wins every week. I despise that in other clubs, and hate to think we'd be like that.

After all my recent postings it seems that the same attitude is still evident, all we need to do is turn up and we will win.

This isn't the case as the old adage goes there is no easy games
