I've just been informed that on Saturday, we've got a friendly lined up away at Whitstable Town (3pm kickoff). It's against Whitstable's 1st team, and we'll be fielding a "strong" side.

Does the "Strong Side" indicate a return for Kwashi then Gary????

After speaking to TB last night, Kwashi's not back in the country yet.

i am choosing my words carefully and not trying to open a fruitless debate on will he come back, does he deserve to be selected straigtaway, is he committed to the club etc

but as every day passes and he does not return i am more worried.this  and next season is when we need him the most.it goes without saying that the quicker he returns the better.i sincerely hope that he is touch with tony on a regular basis and comes back with a clean slate and there is no fallout.

I heard a rumor that he's not been given his visa back because he headed over to vietnam for the summer. So he's thinking of playing in some other country like Kuwait or somewhere.
Not sure how true that is, it was a friend of a friend story.

I am afraid to say that I heard the same rumour. EXACT SAME. I heard the govenment have invalidated his visa as he went to Vietnam which is against the conditions of his visa.

I MUST STRESS THIS IS A RUMOUR, maybe your source is the same as mine Anthony.

If it's true, I can't see any way he can come back.....

With all the illegal immigrants in this country sponging off the state, surely there's room for a quality footballer?? Shall we start a petition and deliver it to No10 ??

I'm not worried. He hasn't come back yet and we're a month into the season. I'm getting to the stage where if he doesn't come back (as is rumoured), then we've coped well enough without him. We need commitment.

Mr DFC WEB, if you're suggesting Kwashi hasn't been committed to DFC just have another think about that one.

He is (was) a student, and is not allowed to earn money unless paid as a provider or entertainer in the UK. During the summer break he had an opportunity to earn money doing something he loves and he took it. Good luck to him, but how silly if the rumour is true and he didn't check the conditions of his Visa.

If only every player had the commitment he has shown. I hope this is all hot air and he will be returning soon.

On a political note, what about the millions of English Waynes and Waynettas sponging off the state, stealing from you and me, shall we deport them as well?

At the moment, he is not showing commitment by 1) going out there when he had a good idea that the season would go on past our season, 2) not checking the visa (if that's the case) and 3) saying "I'll be back soon" to TB when it's near on a month.

He has been committed in the past - this isn't the past though. He's not showing commitment to our cause at this time.

Gary, your post is of a fickle fan, somebody that only remembers the recent past. Does his past commitment count for nothing now? He is a human being in a prejudiced world trying to enjoy the things he enjoys and he has made DFC a part of that.

If it weren't for our beloved country's ridiculous laws, he would have had no need to go away from these shores to earn money in the first place.

How can he show commitment if he isn't even allowed back in this bloody country?

Anyway, once again, I hope it's a load of rubbish and he'll be back soon to remind us all why we love the fact he plays (played) for DFC.
